The trails offer varied terrain; rolling hills, river valley views and meadow lands. The wildlife is as varied as the trail, offering views of deer, woodpeckers and wood ducks.
You can snowshoe anywhere in Minnesota's state parks and recreation areas, except on trails that are specifically groomed for another activity, such as skiing or snowmobiling.

Facilities:

  • There is a picnic shelter available.
  • Ski passes are sold at the park office.

Kilen is located nine miles northeast of Lakefield off of county road 24. Follow park road to the picnic area, where the trail begins.

Parking is available at the picnic area.
