Snow Depth and Groomed Trail Conditions

Flandrau State Park

Trail conditions:

New Ulm/Flandrau received 3-4" of snow on 3/25. Due to the rain proceeding the snow and warm ground temperatures conditions still do not allow us to groom or rent ski equipment at this time.

The trail(s):
The trail runs along wooded river bottoms offering scenic bluffs and an abundance of deer.
You can snowshoe anywhere in Minnesota's state parks and recreation areas, except on trails that are specifically groomed for another activity, such as skiing or snowmobiling.

Facilities:

  • Daily ski passes are sold at the park office when open.
  • Rentals available at the park office.
  • Camper cabins (Thurs - Sunday) or electric sites with vault toilets. Water is available at the park office. Call ahead to make sure sites have been plowed.
