Minnesota hunting and fishing licenses may be purchased nationwide via credit card by dialing 1-888-MN-LICEN (665-4236) at any time of the day or night, seven days a week.
The toll-free call provides immediate licensing by way of a license identification number, which will be issued at the time of the call. The license identification number is only valid for licenses that do not require a tag or sticker. If your purchase requires a tag or sticker, you must wait for it to arrive in the mail before participating in the activity.
There is a $2.75 convenience fee for each phone transaction. For a license that is required to be mailed, the convenience fee is $3.50.
