Featured Update
CO Chris Howe (St. Peter) spent most of the week on deer-hunting enforcement. Multiple instances occurred of people shooting deer near property boundary lines, only to have the deer bound off into a neighboring property where the person did not have permission to enter. Hunting farther from the boundary or hunting near the boundary but shooting into the property where you have permission is a good idea. Tip of the week: If you were “piggybacking” on someone else’s permission to hunt, and that permission was obtained three years ago, and the person who obtained the permission has passed away, it would be best to secure your own permission to hunt, directly from the landowner.Other weekly reports
