Trail location map From Akeley, take Hwy. 64 north 5.6 miles. Then turn left on Blue Trail/Steamboat Trail.

Hubbard County

Found in the Paul Bunyan State Forest in northern Minnesota, these trails are made up of multiple loops, providing miles of single-track OHM trails including tight, wooded technical trails for more experienced riders and miles of smooth trails for beginners. Plan at least a day to ride and explore. The trials are provided by Hubbard County and maintained by Paul Bunyan Forest Riders Motorcycle Club.

When open

OPEN, except trail loop in extreme northwest corner including 637-221 intersection is CLOSED due to wet conditions. Upcoming events: Trails west of Hwy. 64 will be CLOSED August 9th and 10th for Akeley West Endury Ride (trails east of 64 will remain open). Use CAUTION due to Paul Bunyan Forest Riders trail ride October 18th & 19th.
