Make firearms and tree stand safety the top priorities

Each year, hunters are injured in firearms- and tree-stand-related hunting incidents. As archery deer seasons continue, and the regular firearms season looms on the horizon, all hunters should double down on safety. That means always handling firearms safely, checking all tree stand-related equipment before heading out, and focusing on each step into and out of the tree stand.
