Call the park directly to make a reservation: 507-668-7061. The group center cannot be reserved through the Minnesota state park reservation system.
Description
Nestled at the beginning of New York Point, the group center is located in the southwest part of the park along the northern shoreline of Albert Lea Lake. Visitors need to bring their own tent or camper trailer for overnight camping - the group center does not have overnight cabins. Maximum capacity is 50 people. The group center is accessible. Available seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through September.
Dining center: Includes a commercial kitchen and dining hall with folding tables and chairs. Dining hall also has an air conditioning unit.
Bathroom/showers: Separate bathroom and shower rooms for men and women.
Other features: Eight electric pedestals spread out around the group center for visitors to plug in their camper trailers.
Fees
Overnight: $215 per night or $5 per person, whichever is greater. Tax and utilities are extra.
Day use: $130 per day plus tax.

Each group is responsible for cleaning the group center before checkout. A cleaning checklist is included in your reservation information packet.
