Ample parking is available at this location and it is a short walk to the fishing pier at McDonough. Dakota County Parks has installed a new fishing pier as well as winter aeration to keep fish alive through the winter. This will allow a more stable fish population and will make it possible to stock predator species such as Largemouth Bass or Northern Pike into this lake.
