Mays Lake

Location:

Mays Lake is west of Square Lake within the grounds of Camp Wilder. 

Species Present:

Northern Pike: above average abundance, average size.
Largemouth Bass: average abundance, smaller than average size.
Bluegill: above average abundance, smaller than average size.
Bullhead species:
 

Boat Access:

There is no boat access to this lake. The entire shoreline is owned by Camp Wilder. 

Shore Fishing:

Fishing is limited to Camp Wilder guests. 

Management Plans:

  1. Re-survey/population assessment as needed, if staff is available. 

Comments:

This is a small lake with good water quality. Fishing was limited to shore angling by Camp Wilder campers.
