Seasonal Update

Water: Water is available at the park office year-round. The dump station is closed for the season.

Drinking Water: Drinking water is available year-round at the park office and the trail center.

Bathroom Facilities: Bathrooms are closed for the season. Flush toilets are available year-round at the trail center. Vault toilets throughout the park are available year-round.

Showers: Shower buildings in the campground are closed for the season.

Dump Station: The dump station is closed for the season. Water is available at the park office year-round.


Campgrounds: Camping is available year-round in the park. Please check at the office for designated camping loops.

Electric Sites: The park has 34 electric sites. There are no full hook ups, but the park has a dump station. Electric sites are available year-round.

Special Notes for RV Campers: The park has 55 typical graveled back-up sites. There are two non-electric pull through sites.

Daily, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.


Trail Notes: The park has 35 miles of hiking trails, 2.6 miles of surfaced bike trails, 2.6 miles of wheelchair accessible trails and 18 miles of horse trails. Horseback riding is available May 1 until October 31. In winter, the park maintains 19 miles of groomed cross-country ski trails. No snowmobiles are allowed in the park. Wild River also has winter hiking and snowshoe trails. Warm up in the park's Trail Center.

Season Rentals: Ski and snowshoe rentals are available during the winter months when there is adequate snow cover.
