Seasonal Update

Water: Water is OFF for the season. [Water is off until from Sept. 17, 2017 to May 25, 2018 at Monson Lake.]

Drinking Water: Drinking water is off for the winter season. There are two spigots in the campground and one near the picnic shelter, both areas are turned off until May 25, 2018.

Bathroom Facilities: Two vault toilets are open for visitor use. The modern restrooms are closed for the winter season until May 25, 2018.

Showers: Showers will be available Memorial Day through Labor Day, 2018 weekend.

Dump Station: The park does not have a dump station, but nearby Sibley State Park does.


Campgrounds: In 2017, camping is available from the first weekend of May through October. Rustic camping for arrivals from Sept. 17 through Oct. 31.

Electric Sites: Six electric sites, each with 20, 30 and 50 amp circuits, are available during the camping season.

Special Notes for RV Campers: Electric hookups have been added to six campsites.

Trail Notes: The park's hiking trail is open for use.

Season Rentals: For boat, canoe and kayak rentals in the summer, visit nearby Sibley State Park for a chance to experience these activities at Sibley.

Naturalist Programs and Park Tours: Park visitors are encouraged to visit the Interpretive Center at Sibley State Park when it's open.
