Drinking Water: Due to water main freeze, drinking water is not available at this time.
Bathroom Facilities: Flush toilets available in the Visitor Center. Year-round vault toilets are available at the Armstrong Bay day use area.
Campgrounds: There are three temporary boat-in-only campsites on Lake Vermilion. Other than these, there is no camping available within the park. The park does manage Hinsdale Island, a remote, rustic campground on Lake Vermilion that is also accessible only by boat. This campground is located in Kabetogama State Forest.
Camping: Reservations are not required or available for the boat-in campsites on Lake Vermilion.
Tours: Reservations for tours are available by calling 1-866-857-2757 or reserve online. Same day tour reservations can be made up until 11:30 a.m..
