Water: Water is shut down in the Lower & Upper campground.
Drinking Water: Drinking water is available year-round in the shop area courtyard. When water is on, there are water spigots throughout the campgrounds.
Bathroom Facilities: Vault toilets are available year-round throughout the park. Bathroom facilities in the Lower & Upper campground are closed for the season.
Showers: Shower facilities are closed in the Lower & Upper campground.
Dump Station: The dump station is closed. It will reopen May 4, 2018.
Campgrounds: Both campgrounds are open and reservations are highly recommended. Strictly one sleeping/camping unit is allowed in the Lower Campground. Upper Campground we do allow two camping units per site (2 tents or 1 camper and 1 tent). No hammocks are allowed at Lake Carlos State Park.
Electric Sites: 59 electric sites in lower campground - 22 electric sites in upper campground.
Special Notes for RV Campers: We do not offer pull through campsites, however, gravel spurs are available at all campsites, lengths vary in size. Please park campers and vehicles on these gravel spurs and not on the grass. If you have a second vehicle, please park in the visitor parking areas.

Daily 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Through September, we have extended office hours Friday and Saturday nights from 9 am to 9 pm. Please leave a message if no one is available.
Trail Notes: All trails are open and ready for use. Contact the office for updated trail conditions.
Season Rentals: Paddleboat, canoes, and kayaks are available to rent during the regular season office hours May - October. In the Winter - Snowshoes are available for rent at the park office. A thermal flip-over style portable fish house is available to rent on Lake Carlos only. Contact the park office for current rates and availability.
Naturalist Programs and Park Tours: A naturalist will be conducting programs in the park year-round. See Events Calendar link above for upcoming scheduled naturalist programs.
