Seasonal Update

Water: There are two water faucets available in the winter in the campground: one by site 48 and another by the lower camper cabin loop. Water is also available from a faucet between the River Inn and park office. Water is available in the River Inn and park office when the buildings are open.

Drinking Water: There are two water faucets available in the winter in the campground: one by site 48 and another by the lower camper cabin loop. Bathroom Facilities: The campground bathroom is closed for the winter. Outhouses are available throughout the campground and in the River Inn parking lot. Flush toilets are available in the park office and River Inn when the buildings are open.

Showers: The campground shower building is closed for the winter.

Dump Station: Dump station is closed for the winter.

 

Campgrounds: Camping is available year-round. The park has 82 campsites, including electric sites. In winter the park plows 15-20 sites, including some electrical campsites.

Electric Sites: During the regular camping season the park has 21 electric sites available. In winter, 10 electric sites are available.

Special Notes for RV Campers: Some sites will not accommodate large units.

 

Contact Notes: The park office is typically open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There may be times during that time the office will be closed if staff are unavailable.

 

Trail Notes: 45 miles of trails are open. Check with the park office for up-to-date information.

Season Rentals: Snowshoe rental is available during the winter season.

Naturalist Programs and Park Tours: Programs offered year-round on a regular basis from Memorial Day through Labor Day and monthly during the off-season. Check the "event calendar" for a list of current programs.
