Water: Water is on for the season. Tentatively, water shut off date is scheduled for September 30, 2017.
Drinking Water: Water is available at hand pumps in the campground and picnic areas, the campground dump station, and at a faucet across from the shower building.
Bathroom Facilities: The sanitation building is open for the season. Tentatively, the campground sanitation building will close September 30, 2017. Vault toilets are available in the campground and day use areas.
Showers: Showers are on for the season. Tentatively, the shower building will close on September 30, 2017.
Dump Station: The dump station is open. Tentatively, the dump station will close on September 30, 2017.
Campgrounds: Hayes Lake has two loops with a total of 35 campsites. Two camper cabins are available seasonally. Two hike-in campsites are also available, located on a scenic overlook on the north side of Hayes Lake. The group camp is available from early May through October.
Electric Sites: Park has 18 electric sites for use during the summer camping season.

Office hours will vary during the week, but will be open on the weekends as follows:
Fridays 10.30 - 6.00, Saturdays and Sundays 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Trail Notes: Park has 13 miles of hiking trail, 5 miles of mountain bike trail and 7 miles of horse trail. In winter, 9 miles of snowmobile trails and 5 miles of ski trails. Visitors may snowshoe anywhere in the park with the exception of on the track of groomed ski trails.
Season Rentals: Watercraft rentals have begun for the season. You are welcome to bring your own boats and canoes to the park, but please be aware that motor use on Hayes Lake is limited to electric motors only.
Naturalist Programs and Park Tours: There is no naturalist on staff at this park. Visit the State Parks calendar of events for information on the many special events throughout the season.
