Seasonal Update

Water: Water in the picnic area and campground has been turned on for the season. Anticipated water shut off date is 10/20/2014

Drinking Water: Drinking water is available year-round behind the wood shed at the office at a water spigot.

Bathroom Facilities: The bathroom in the picnic area and campground are open for the summer. The anticipated water shut off date is 10/20/2014. A flush toilet at the park contact station is available year-round. Vault toilets are available year-round throughout the park.

Showers: The shower building is open for the summer. Anticipated water shut-off date 10/20/2014

Dump Station: The dump station is open for the season.


Campgrounds: Campground is open year-round in the park. In winter 5 sites are available for camping including 3 electric sites. Group camp will remain open until the first plowable snow of the season.

Electric Sites: 19 sites are available.

Special Notes for RV Campers: Please check the lengths of the campsite spurs. A few of our campsites are relatively small.

Reservations: Reservations are highly recommended for weekends. Reservations are not needed November 1 - April 1.

Summer: Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Friday - Saturday, 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.; Sundays, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Fall & Winter: Saturday - Sunday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Monday - Friday, office hours will vary. Please leave a message.


Trail Notes: In the summer, the park has 13 miles of hiking trails, 1 mile of surfaced bike trail and 1 mile of wheelchair accessible trail. In the winter, the park maintains 5.7 miles of groomed cross-country ski trails, 5.5 miles of groomed snowmobile trails, 5.5 miles of winter hiking trails and a sliding hill. Dogsledding is allowed on the snowmobile trails. The park has wood heated trail shelters available in the winter.

Season Rentals: Canoes are available for rent at the park office. 1.1 mile hike to canoes

Naturalist Programs and Park Tours: Occasional Nature Hikes on Saturdays at 10am. Call the park for more information
