Water: Water in the picnic area and campground has been turned on for the season.
Drinking Water: Drinking water is available year-round behind the wood shed near the office at an orange water spigot.
Bathroom Facilities: The bathroom in the picnic area and campground are open for the season. A flush toilet at the park contact station is available year-round. Vault toilets are available year-round in the campground and picnic area.
Showers: The shower building is open for the season.
Dump Station: The dump station will remain open until the end of October (weather permitting).
Campgrounds: The main campground is open year-round in the park. In the winter 5 sites are available for camping including 3 electric sites. The group camp will remain open until the first plowable snow of the season. Cart-in and backpack sites can be used in the winter however the trails to these sites will not be groomed.
Electric Sites: 19 drive-in electric sites are available. 3 Electric sites will be plowed in the winter.
Special Notes for RV Campers: Please check the lengths of the campsite spurs. A few of our campsites are relatively small.
Reservations: All sites at Frontenac State Park are reservable. Reservations are highly recommended for weekends. Reservations are not needed November 1 - April 1.

Trail Notes: In the summer, the park has 13 miles of hiking trails, A 1 mile paved bike trail and 1 mile of wheelchair accessible trail. In the winter, the park maintains 5.7 miles of groomed cross-country ski trails, 5.5 miles of groomed snowmobile trails, 5.5 miles of winter hiking trails and a sliding hill. Dogsledding is allowed on the snowmobile trails. The park has 2 wood heated trail shelters available in the winter.
Season Rentals: Canoes are available for rent at the park office Mid-May-Mid October. 1.1 mile hike to canoes. In the winter snowshoe rental is available.
Naturalist Programs and Park Tours: Weekly nature hikes at 10 am on Saturdays throughout the summer. Meet at the amphitheater in the campground.
