Self-registration is located on the north side of the office, for your convenience, when the office is not open.
Trail Notes: The park has 18 miles of hiking trail, 5 miles of surfaced bike trail and 10 miles of mountain bike trail. In winter, the park maintains 8 miles of groomed cross-country ski trails and 3 miles of hiking trails. Snowshoeing is permitted anywhere in the park except on groomed ski trails. Call the park for more information. Heated trail shelters are available at Picnic Shelter A and the park's Visitor Center. Leashed dogs are permitted on all trails except for cross country ski trails.
Season Rentals: The park's picnic shelters are available for rent year-round. Shelter A rents for $200/day and Shelter B rents for $150/day. Call (612) 279-3555 to reserve a picnic shelter.
Canoes, kayaks, and snowshoes are available for rent at the park office. They are available on a first come, first served basis when the office is open.
GPS units, birding kits, and fishing poles are available for free during your visit to the park. Check out fishing poles out from the park office and the GPS units and bird kits are available at the Visitor Center.
Naturalist Programs and Park Tours: Naturalist programs are offered year-round. Check out the naturalist programs and other activities scheduled at the park.
