Kabetogama State Forest


Forest Landscape: The terrain is covered with extensive fir, spruce, aspen, pine, maple, and birch forests and dotted with lakes and rocky ridges. Kabetogama Lake is spacious with 25,000 acres of water and 200 islands.

Management Activities: Management activities include timber harvesting, timber stand improvement, tree planting, and trail maintenance.
