The trail(s):
The trail runs through mature pine forests. You may see a wide variety of wildlife through out the park. Includes all levels of difficulty, from flat to rolling topography and steep hills. Check the park's home page for a full list of winter programs and events!
You can snowshoe anywhere in Minnesota's state parks and recreation areas, except on trails that are specifically groomed for another activity, such as skiing or snowmobiling.

Facilities:

  • A warming house is available in the park headquarters.
  • Ski passes are available for purchase at the park office, Monday-Sunday, 8:30-4:15.
  • Snowshoe and universal x-c ski rentals are available at the park office.
  • Camping is limited, but available, contact park for details. Four camper cabins are heated and open 7 days a week.

Parking is available either at the main lot or Aspen Lane parking lot
