Our trails are not groomed, but skiers can lay their own tracks. Beaver Creek Valley Trail is an easy three mile loop that meanders through a lovely valley. In the campground, the Big Spring Trail and the unplowed campground road are both used as ski trails in the winter.
You can snowshoe anywhere in Minnesota's state parks and recreation areas except on trails that are specifically groomed for another activity, such as skiing or snowmobiling.

Facilities:

  • There is a shelter located in the park with a wood stove.
  • Ski passes are not required.
  • Winter camping is not available.

The trailhead is located five miles west of Caledonia on County Road 1 off Highway 76.

Parking is located at the park picnic area.
