Comments: Smith Lake is stocked annually with Bluegills and Black Crappies.  Shoreline and prairie habitat has been restored around the lake.  These plants help protect water quality and improve habitat for fish.  Not only can you discover a new place to fish in Bloomington but a place to identify prairie plants.
