Where to go: Drive to the beach/picnic area, Pope's Point has all the autumn hues. Take a hike along the lake, beautiful fall sunsets daily.

What you'll see: Fall colors are Popping! Sugar and Red Maples should be peaking this weekend. We have everything on the color wheel from yellows, greens, oranges, reds, and purples. Asters, gentian, and black-eyed Susans still putting on a awesome display.

Also of interest: Albino Deer AlertOur doe is usually hanging out by the park road on a daily basis. Crappies being caught on the fishing pier. Cast a line from one of our 2 fishing piers. Fall fishing is picking up!

Summer: Sunday - Wednesday, 9 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Thursday and Saturday 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.; Friday 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Spring and Fall: Daily, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Winter: Generally, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Office hours limited due to staffing.
